Terms of Service
Effective May 7, 2026 · Last updated May 7, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you,” “Customer,” or “Operator”) and RowRouter (“RowRouter,” “we,” “us”) governing your access to and use of the RowRouter web application, marketing site, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
RowRouter lets an Operator generate row-scoped edit links for records stored in third-party data sources (currently Airtable) and share those links with external recipients (“Recipients”). Recipients do not require an Airtable account or a RowRouter account to use the link they receive.
2. Eligibility and Account
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, the security of the email address used for sign-in, and all activity on your account. RowRouter authenticates Operators via single-use email magic links; you agree not to share these links and to keep your email account secure.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Send links or messages without a legitimate business purpose;
- Send unsolicited bulk communications, spam, phishing, or malware;
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or quotas;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code, except as expressly permitted by law;
- Resell, sub-license, white-label, or provide the Service to third parties as your own product;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the data of other customers.
We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating your account.
4. Third-Party Integrations
The Service requires you to connect a third-party data source (currently Airtable) using a Personal Access Token or OAuth grant. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to authorize RowRouter to access the connected data on your behalf and to share row-scoped edit links with Recipients you designate.
RowRouter is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Airtable, Stripe, Resend, Fly.io, or any other provider whose service we integrate with. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for changes a third party makes to its service, pricing, API, availability, or terms.
5. Customer Data and Security
You retain ownership of all data you connect to or process through the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, and display Customer Data solely as necessary to provide the Service to you, to maintain audit logs, and to comply with law.
We employ technical safeguards including:
- AES-256-GCM encryption with versioned keys for stored access tokens (Airtable PATs and OAuth tokens);
- SHA-256 hashing of Recipient link tokens — we cannot recover the plaintext value of a link after issuance;
- HTTPS for all transit;
- Row-level access controls in our database.
We do not sell Customer Data and do not use it to train machine learning models. See our Privacy Policy for further detail. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable data-protection laws (such as GDPR or CCPA) for the Customer Data you process.
6. Subscriptions, Plans, and Pricing
The Service is currently provided free of charge during the Founding Beta described in Section 8. Specific plan structures, fees, and usage limits will be published on the Service at the time paid billing is activated. By continuing to use the Service after paid billing is activated, you may be required to choose a plan to retain access to paid features.
When paid plans are introduced, prices will be quoted in U.S. dollars and will exclude applicable taxes (including sales tax, VAT, and GST), which may be added based on your billing address. All paid subscriptions will auto-renew until you cancel. You will be able to cancel at any time via the Stripe customer portal accessible from your billing page; cancellation will take effect at the end of the then-current billing period.
Failed payments may result in suspension of paid features. We may retry the payment method on file in accordance with Stripe’s standard dunning process. If a payment remains unpaid for more than 30 days, your subscription may be terminated.
7. Founding Member Pricing
Customers whose RowRouter accounts existed before paid billing was activated for the Service are eligible to subscribe at the Founding Member price published on the Service at the time paid billing is activated. Eligibility is tied to the user account; it is not transferable to another account or to a third party.
What “for life” means. Marketing materials may describe the Founding Member price as “for life,” “forever,” or “permanent.” For the avoidance of doubt and notwithstanding any such language, the Founding Member price applies for 60 paid billing months (cumulatively five years of paid use) starting from the first paid month of your Founding Member subscription.
Months in which you do not have an active paid subscription do not count toward the 60-month total. After you have accumulated 60 paid billing months at the Founding Member price, your subscription will automatically renew at the then-current standard plan price unless you cancel before that renewal.
We will not increase the Founding Member price during the 60-month period. If we restructure the Service in a way that materially reduces the features available to Founding Members during that period, we will offer either a pro-rated refund or a credit at our option.
If your Founding Member entitlement remains inactive (no active subscription) for more than twelve consecutive months, we may, at our discretion, treat the entitlement as forfeited; subsequent subscriptions will be at the then-current standard price. Founding Member status is revoked if your account is terminated for breach of these Terms.
8. Beta and Pre-Launch
While the Service is offered in a beta or pre-launch capacity (the “Founding Beta”), we may provide the Service free of charge with reduced limits, experimental features, or features that may be modified, restricted, or removed at any time without notice. Use during the Founding Beta is at your own risk and is provided on an “as-is” basis without any commitment of feature stability, performance, or continued availability.
9. Refunds
Except where required by law, all subscription fees are non-refundable. You are not entitled to a refund for partial billing periods, unused time, or canceled subscriptions. If we materially reduce the features of a paid plan, we will offer a pro-rated refund or credit upon your request. Customers in jurisdictions with mandatory consumer-protection rights retain those rights regardless of this section.
10. Service Availability
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available but make no guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (including but not limited to Airtable, Stripe, Resend, and Fly.io), and force-majeure events may cause downtime. There is no contractual service level agreement on any plan during the founding period; a future enterprise tier may include an SLA.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, source code, design, branding, trademarks, logos, and content (other than Customer Data), is the property of RowRouter and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and timely payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes during your active subscription. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not remove copyright or trademark notices from the Service or use our name, logo, or branding for any purpose without our prior written consent.
You grant RowRouter a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit, without obligation, for any purpose including improving the Service. Submitting feedback does not transfer ownership of your other intellectual property.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that we reasonably believe is harmful to RowRouter, other customers, Recipients, or third parties. Where practicable we will give notice and an opportunity to cure, but for serious breaches we may act immediately.
Upon termination:
- Your right to access the Service ends immediately;
- Active recipient links remain accessible until their original expiry, unless we revoke them, in which case Recipients see a “link canceled” screen;
- Customer Data is retained for 30 days, during which you may export or delete it; thereafter it is deleted from our active systems, subject to retention required by law and limited operational backups that age out per our retention schedule.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us to delete the account.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROWROUTER DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that it will meet your requirements. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups of any data you consider critical, including data stored in your connected third-party data sources.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROWROUTER’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.
IN NO EVENT WILL ROWROUTER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY EVEN IF A LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold RowRouter and its officers, employees, and agents harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your Customer Data or your use of the Service;
- Your breach of these Terms or any applicable law;
- Your violation of the rights of any third party, including Airtable’s terms or the privacy or intellectual-property rights of others;
- Your interactions with Recipients;
- Any link you generate or any communication you send through the Service.
16. Modifications to the Service or These Terms
We may modify the Service at any time, including by adding, changing, or removing features. We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version at the URL where these Terms appear and, for material changes, by emailing the address associated with your account. Material changes take effect 30 days after notice. Your continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance.
If we materially increase the price of your subscription we will give you at least 30 days’ prior notice and the opportunity to cancel before the increase takes effect. As stated in Section 7, the Founding Member price is not subject to increase during the 60-month period.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
For Customers in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer-protection rights, nothing in these Terms limits or waives those statutory rights.
18. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, third-party service outages, and pandemics or epidemics.
19. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to a successor in the context of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or to an affiliate, on notice to you.
20. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The failure of either party to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order forms executed between us, constitute the entire agreement between you and RowRouter regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject matter.
