Why use this template
Address errors are caught in either of two places: by you, while you're shipping, or by the carrier, after a failed delivery. A 30-second 'confirm this' link sent 24 hours before ship moves the catch upstream — the customer fixes their own typo, your shipping accuracy goes up, returns labels go down.

What the recipient sees but cannot change. Provides context without exposing edit-side data.

When not to
Orders ship same-day and the time window for verification is shorter than the email reply window.
